I’m stoked about diaspora’s general idea. What I’m not so stoked about is the fact that in order to contribute, you have to sign an agreement that looks to me as if they wanted to crowdsource the project - and sell it the results on their own account. That leaves a bitter taste.
Could somebody please tell me I’m just overcautious with that legal mumbo-jumbo going on - and can happily hack ever after?
I mean - I just wanted to host a seed on heroku, but right now, it seems like these sympathetic hackers have been talked into this behavior by some suits…
